The Funambol BlackBerry client does not implement unescaping of XML data within SyncML, necessitating the encoding of the SIF XML data in Base64.

A configuration patch has been released to workaround this issue.


Applying the patch

  • Stop your Funambols server (bin/funambol stop)
  • Download DataTransformerManager.xml and save (overwrite) into Funambol/config/com/funambol/server/engine/transformer
  • Start your server again.

Your sync should work properly after this.
